There is a case, however, for getting more from higher detailed textures at higher resolutions than at lower resolutions but you won't notice too much of a difference from 1080p to 1440p. You can use higher textures no matter the resolution and see the difference but generally you won't be missing much from "Ultra HD textures" to the base High or Ultra texture settings.
